Trust me, I'd loooove to make it down there...it would be amazing-of course, I would get into wayyyy too much trouble(probably just as well-hee hee). Unfortunately, I'm up here with 3 kids and a hubby who can't seem to get by more than a few hours without me-the fact, and only the facts.... I can't imagine what the house would look like if I took off for an apostafest for a few days....maybe, some day, when they're older. I can only dream...you're a lucky girl.

Told MIL I need a few weekends off
by hambeak intold jakes mom i am not going over there for a while and i need a little time off for me.. a lot of feces hit the oscilator so what i need is to take care of me for awhile.. no cooking or cleaning for them for a while.. a lot of anger at me now so how do i tell them to f$$cj off?.

I think that Jake needs to take responsibility for HIS OWN parents. If you were not working full time and didn't mind cooking and cleaning for them that would be a different story, but for them to expect and demand that from you over and above putting in a full work week-it's unfathomable.
You need to put your foot down right now and put a stop to this...and stop letting them all make you feel guilty over it-they seem very good at that!!!

There are five of us(2 adults and three kids(two of which are teenagers)). I usually spend at least $200 a week, so $800 a month on groceries....YIKES! Insane.....LIG
